My mother often talked about her childhood growing up in the Jones family. One of her favorite memories was finding dishes in boxes of oatmeal. They stocked their cupboard with their prizes during the 1920s to 1930s. Must have been helpful with 10 kids in the house. Today, pieces of Depression glass are antiques.

My brother, Gale, always chose to have a small piece of pumpkin pie and a small piece of mince pie and cover both with whipped cream. |
Bonnie EastonHi! I am a Jones cousin, daughter of Evelyn Jones Easton. Since retiring as a reference librarian after 20 years, I have become a genealogy addict. Our ancestors want to tell us their stories.
